| Never wear white shoes between Labor Day and Memorial Day | | I was taught this from basically birth. We were never allowed to wear white shoes, pants or dresses before Memorial Day(5/28/07) or after Labor Day (9/03/07). The exception was always Easter Sunday. I don't know where this started or why. I can't seem to find much information other than it's a fashion faux pas.I know not all countries celebrate Memorial Day or Labor Day but do you also have a white clothes or shoes rule? Does anyone follow this "rule" anymore? | |

For me, I am afraid I won't go any where this year, I have some weddings to attend to for the coming days,maybe just like Garfied, staying at home eat and sleep.
