| I got scratch-offs for Christmas for my dad..What a surprise! | | I love getting scratch offs for Christmas. I actually like getting these a lot, although this year I didn't win anything. This is my dad's way of saying "merry christmas", by buying me 20 holiday scratch offs. LOL. Parents can be so unoriginal at times, can't they? But I like getting them. It's a change from the ordinary. Plus, it didn't hurt that LAST year I won $100 off of them. | | You Children's Favorite Christmas Gift(s) | | I was just wondering what your child(ren) thought was great this year; even if it was not something they really wanted?For Paul it was the GeoTrax airport that my brother got for him. He's already worn down an entire six pack of AA batteries in it. I think I need to go to the store and find some more rechargables for him. He also loves his Bounceback Racer (another toy that he has already worn out the batteries in). And, with a little bit of his Christmas money he bought a toy helicopter thing that he really likes as well.For Kathryn it is the Razor scooter that santa Claus brought for her. She also loves the big girl makeup that Michael and Elizabeth gave to her and she is tickled pink with the Barbies that she got from both my mother and my mother-in-law.I can't wait to hear about the things that your children thought were awesome this year as well. | |
| | how was your christmas? | | My Christmas was very good! All my family members are present. We have games and programs for kids and adults. We also sing together. But the most wonderful part is my cousin and my mom who has misunderstanding for 7 years of not talking to each other, reconciled on that special day![em]thumbup[/em]My mom did not expect my cousin to be present; it was really not my mom intention to fix their gap. Good thing my cousin makes moves and approached him several times even if my mom rejected him twice.I am happy that this coming New Year my families are all in good terms.
